We provide independent third-party audit and verification services for New Zealand’s poultry industry.
We perform on-farm audits to ensure farm processes meet the company and industry regulations for animal welfare and biosecurity standards. We assess against company assurance programme standards for animal welfare, biosecurity, traceability, and environmental sustainability.
We audit processing plants for best practice in animal welfare.
Partnering with poultry processors, we verify Risk Management Programmes by visiting meat chicken and egg producers, checking and confirming compliance against government regulations. Our verifications are based on the Animal Products Notice, Animal Products Act, and Production Supply and Processing Notice.
We verify over 90 broiler chicken farms for their Risk Management Programmes, and we have extended our scope to be verifiers for egg producers including producers who export eggs.
Our work helps poultry farmers assure the quality of their products so they can protect and enhance their reputation and access markets in New Zealand and internationally.
